Brighton boss Graham Potter is not expecting a weakened Spurs outfit at the AMEX on Saturday.
The North London side were thrashed 7-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
He told The Argus: "They are that good a team, Mauricio is that good a manager that, whatever the outcome against Bayern Munich they can refocus and be prepared to play Brighton in the Premier League.
"That is what they know. There is no advantage for us, regardless of the game.
"They are not going to give us a goal start or anything like that.
"We have to start from the first whistle and be prepared to play against a top team."
