Watford are pushing to sign PSV Eindhoven midfielder Gaston Pereira.
Pereira's agent has offered him to AC Milan, though they have other options under consideration.
As such, Watford are regarded as favourites for his signing, says Gazzetta dello Sport.
PSV are prepared to sell the midfielder for 15m and the Hornets are willing to present an offer this week.
Watford hope to close a deal quickly as Milan continue to dither.
