Manchester United have named Marriot Hotels as their first official hotel partner, reports www.sportspromedia.com

The deal sees the Premier League club add another brand to their commercial portfolio and allows the hotel chain to offer exclusive experiences worldwide to United fans through its Seat of Dreams campaign. That activation will give supporters a prime seat at the club's Old Trafford stadium and the chance to meet United legends, along with other VIP perks.

In addition, the company has created a hospitality suite at the stadium, offering VIP access to all home games throughout the season.

As a global partner of United, Marriot Hotels will also benefit from other club-related marketing and branding opportunities.

This deal is an expansion of the multi-year marketing partnership the club signed with Marriott International back in February. Under this agreement, its travel program Marriot Bonvoy provided its members with unique experiences last season, such as being the club's stadium announcer, as part of its Marriott Bonvoy Moments initiative.

"Through this partnership we are proud to create exciting new fan experiences both at Old Trafford and at our hotels around the world," said Mara Hannula, vice president brand marketing for Marriott Hotels.

Manchester United's director of partnerships, Sean Jefferson, added: "This is a truly unique opportunity for fans to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime matchday experience. Unlike anything else available in UK football, this has only been made possible due to Marriott Hotels' expertise in creating a premium environment and accommodations.
