France coach Didier Deschamps has again hinted he'd like to see Olivier Giroud playing more at Chelsea.
Deschamps has called Giroud up for next week's Euros qualifiers, but hints he'd like the veteran to move in January if his playing circumstances do not change.
He said, "He is not responsible for his situation. He undergoes it. There are choices that are made and that gives the coach a reason for what is going on in the field.
"I will not interfere with (Chelsea manager Frank) Lampard's choices, that's how it is. Obviously this situation is too uncomfortable compared to his personal goals
"I will not anticipate. I do not advise him, but I told him that the best thing for him is to play. It has happened in the past that it is not in an ideal situation. But for two months, it's very small. I hope it will evolve positively.
"Is it possible that Chelsea's position is evolving? I do not know. I do not worry today, I trust him. I hope you will not have to ask the question in March."
