Real Madrid Castilla coach Raul insists he's focusing on his current job.
Raul was tipped for the senior job by former Real GM Jorge Valdano.
"My relationship with Jorge has always been special," he said.
"Next week will be 25 years since I debuted with Real Madrid and it's a column with a personal opinion.
"Now I'm trying to show that I have what it takes to have that chance in the future. All I can do is continue working.
"I'm happy to be at home, in my club and we'll see what happens in the future.
"I'm focused on Castilla, learning every day and instilling the values of Real Madrid into the players."
