Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hit out critics of Andrew Robertson.
The German believes that if there is any criticism of his defender, then it is because of the world out there" and not his quality.
Klopp is adamant any abuse his defender has been forced to endure is totally misplaced: The criticism has nothing to do with the expectation. It is to do with the world out there.
He has played well for weeks and months and then you take it for granted. If there is one game less than another, you start asking what has happened to Andy Robertson. Nothing.
It's completely normal. The game before he was maybe the best player on the pitch."
Robertson has been criticised over the past week for his form with Scotland and in the Champions League.
