Atletico Madrid have joined the race for unsettled Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic.
ESPN says the 31-year-old is believed to be keen for a move away come the January transfer window, and Atletico have now joined AC Milan in the race for the Serb.
United reportedly rejected Milan's advances for Matic in the summer, but he could still be on his way out of the exit door at Old Trafford, with Serie A or La Liga a potential destination.
Matic, having played twice in the Europa League, would be eligible for the Champions League should Diego Simeone's side qualify for the knockout stages.
Having signed from Chelsea in the summer of 2017, the Serbian international's contract runs out next summer, and United are yet to trigger the option of a one-year extension.
