Manchester City players expect Leroy Sane to leave for Bayern Munich.
Bayern wanted to sign Sane last summer but those hopes ended when he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in August.
The Telegraph says the injury has not deterred Bayern in their bid to land Sane and they are set to return for the Germany international next summer - if not sooner in January.
And Sane's City team-mates are becoming increasingly convinced the winger will join Bayern Munich next year.
Although initially ruled out until March, there is growing optimism he could return to action in February and play a part in the final months of the campaign.
