Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson was thrilled to win the Super Cup last night.
Robertson admits their shootout win is the ideal way to start the season.
He said, "It was a long game. Both teams wanted to win, we were good at it. We had lost the Community Shield to penalties and we were good tonight.
"We worked a lot last year to get to the Champions League and when you have the chance to win you have to go on winning. Starting with a trophy is fantastic, we were very focused and we were good on the pitch.
"We must try to compete on all fronts. We must try to win the next four trophies and we will be there to compete."
