Norwich signing Josip Drmic has revealed that Daniel Farke is a significant reason why he completed the move.

The Swiss international is a free agent and will officially be a Norwich player on July 1.

Drmic felt it was time for him to leave the Bundesliga as he feels that he can make the next step in his career.

The 26-year-old spent the past seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach.

"We are on the same level," Drmic said to reporters of Norwich boss Farke.

"He is a very interesting person and I think he has done a great job and I am happy I can work with him.

"After six years in Germany, I'm looking forward to a new adventure.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world, with the best players.

"It's cool that I can now compete with them all."
