Patrick Vieira is a step away from quitting as coach of Nice.
The Arsenal legend could be allowed to leave OGCN if former president Jean-Pierre Rivre and sports director Julien Fournier were to return.
Vieira, reports L'Equipe, has a clause in his deal which would allow him to walk should the pair come back.
Rivere and Fournier quit in January, though is now being linked with a return.
For Vieira, the Frenchman isn't short of offers and has been contacted by Newcastle.
