Arsenal boss Unai Emery says Sokratis has the club's full support.
Sokratis was distraught after his error and took sole blame for Arsenal dropping two points at Watford from 2-0 up.
Emery said of the defender, who is set to be recalled to face Aston Villa on Sunday: "We are a team. It is not individual. We spoke with him, with them. We need to be together and one mistake is not his mistake.
"It is the mistake of all the team and I am responsible because I decided to start like that.
"We need to be together when we win, when we lose and also be convinced in our preparation and our game plan in each match."
