Mundo Deportivo says Bayern have approached Barca about a price for Brazil international Coutinho.
The German giants are turning to Coutinho after plans to sign Manchester City winger Leroy Sane fell through after his knee injury was confirmed as an ACL setback.
The one stumbling block, however, could be Coutinho's high salary demands.
