Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde admits there could be midfield sales this month.
Barca brought in Frenkie de Jong, who is likely to be a key player in 2019/20, while Riqui Puig may also be ready to take more of a prominent role.
"There are quite a few players in midfield," Valverde said after the win against Arsenal in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
"We'll see if something happens. I don't know if any sales or signings will be completed."
Arturo Vidal's name was one mentioned, with the Chilean having been important in 2018/19.
"This year there's more competition," the coach rather bluntly replied.
