Real Betis icon Joaquin has enjoyed his first days of preseason under new coach Rubi.
Rubi has left Espanyol to succeed Quique Setien as Betis coach.
Joaquin said, "We have been a few days with a new trainer, always one comes with the expectation of what his ideas will be, his work, but I think that players are happy, I personally see a coach with clear ideas and it is true in these days we are receiving a lot of information.
"You have to absorb many details these days, there is physical work and this costs more.
"But when a new coach arrives it is the ambition with which he comes, the desire to work, he does not want to change anything or go crazy, he wants to go little by little, giving information and as soon as possible we take the concepts and philosophy that he wants to change. But it's gone quite well."
