Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still believes in Brazilian midfielder Fred.
The central midfielder started his first game of the season in a 1-0 win over FC Astana.
Fred showed decent qualities in recycling possession and creating chances.
But United fans will be hoping to see consistent quality from the man who was signed by Jose Mourinho last summer.
"He's improving," Solskjaer said of Fred after the game to reporters.
"He's getting better and better, fitter and fitter and it's great to see he's confident enough on the ball.
"And he's a tenacious little midfielder, he's good on and off the ball. And he'll come good for us."
