Paul Dummett admits being dropped by Newcastle United has been difficult.
Dummett was benched following the 5-0 defeat at Leicester City with his four match absence the longest stretch of matches, when fit, he has been left out.
The defender said: It's never nice to not be playing.
The manager dropped me for whatever reason after the defeat against Leicester. I've had to work hard to get back in the team.
Ciaran has played really well since he's come in. Credit to him, he was ready when called upon."
