Former AC Milan director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli has jumped to the defence of Aurelio de Laurentiis.
The Napoli owner is in a stand-off with his players after the squad refused to enter ritiro a fortnight ago.
But Mirabelli told Radio Marte: "Napoli v Milan always has a special charm. Both teams are trying to make sense of this season. [Aurelio] De Laurentiis has done a great job in Naples and maybe the Neapolitans don't appreciate him, but from the outside you can see the great management."'
He added: "I hope to find an important project. However I am careful not to make any claims, and I hope luck helps me."
