Southend United have confirmed the appointment of Sol Campbell as their new manager.
The former Arsenal and Tottenham defender will take charge against Ipswich Town on Saturday 26th October.
Campbell entered management for the first time last season with Macclesfield Town.
He left in August after helping the club secure their League Two status.
Andy Cole and Hermann Hreiarsson have followed Campbell from Macclesfield, while former Gunners fitness coach Anthony Colbert has also joined his backroom staff.
