Flamengo have explored the prospect of bringing PSG star Neymar back to Brazil.
Brazil captain Neymar wants to leave Paris this summer, with a return to Barcelona mooted. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is demanding more than the world record 222m they paid for Neymar two years ago.
However, Esporte Interativo says Flamengo are seriously exploring a deal for the attacker.
Any move will centre on a loan arrangement and the hope that Neymar would be happy to return home after so many years away in Europe.
However even then, PSG would have to accept such an unlikely deal.
