The Romania international striker is on a season-long deal from Brighton - and has impressed.
However, a knee suffered by Andone has Gala now in contact with the Seagulls about ripping up the deal, reports Fotmac.
A final decision will be made after Andone's next knee scan, but there's fears his season could be over.
In nine games, Andone has scored twice for Gala this season.
