Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is staying grounded over talk of being a future Barcelona or Real Madrid player.
That claim was made by Mount's former Vitesse teammate Mitchell van Bergen.
Those comments didn't go unnoticed by Mount, but he poured cold water on the transfer suggestion by insisting his sole focus is on Chelsea right now.
"I saw what Mitchell said," Mount replied.
"I'm obviously very close to him we had a very close bond. He's a brilliant player.
"But my focus is on Chelsea and this is my first year, so I don't look too far ahead.
"My focus is on the next game, that's kind of how far I look ahead."
