Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane insists late signings can still be made.

The transfer window is open until Monday and Los Blancos are still hoping to sign another player or two.

"Anything can happen until Monday," Zidane said at his pre-Villarreal press conference when asked about their chances of clinching a last-minute signing.

"One bomb, two bombs... But the important thing is tomorrow's game."

Zidane clearly wanted Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer and despite him being identified as the one player the coach was desperate to sign, the club didn't do it. But he says he's happy with his squad anyway.

"In the end this is the squad that I have," he said when asked if he was happy.

"I'm proud of these players and, for me, they're the best.

"The important thing is that when the season starts you're at ease, and I am.

"I can't complain with this squad and any coach would want to train this team."
