Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk was delighted with their 2-1 defeat of Tottenham.
The Dutchman insists the points were well deserved.
He said, "I think the win was deserved. We knew it was going to be tough but when they scored after less than a minute that made it harder. We reacted, kept putting on pressure. Their goalkeeper was outstanding.
"In the second half we kept that intensity going and that was what got us through. I think even before Henderson's goal, we kept going. We managed to control Tottenham, we had to be aware of their pace but I think we did that pretty well. We knew it was going to be tough, it's always difficult against them. We can be proud in the way we reacted."
