Jurgen Klopp has played down Dejan Lovren's mooted exit from Liverpool.
The Croatian was left out of the Reds' travelling squad for the European Super Cup final.
Roma are reportedly in talks to sign the 30-year-old centre-back, but Klopp has played down those claims.
Asked why Lovren would not feature, Klopp said: "It's because he is ill.
"We will see what happens in general, not just in this window."
