The Daily Mail says he is facing further questions over his professionalism after he was videoed dancing topless and seemingly the worse for wear in a Dubai nightclub during last week's international break.
The Chelsea midfielder, who has been out for a month with an ankle injury, had permission from his club to go on holiday and was not misbehaving in the video.
Barkley can be seen topless swinging his shirt around his head as a member of the nightclub's security appears to warn him.
He can be seen embracing another shirtless male as they dance before he is lifted into the air as a group of females nearby attempt to control them.
