The father of RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland is reluctant to see him sign for Manchester United.
Former Manchester City midfielder Alfie Haaland believes the step up might be too big for his son.
BILD says Haaland Sr. wants him to make a small step as he progresses up the football ladder instead of joining a European giant.
He wants Erling to play regularly instead of finding himself behind others in the pecking order at a big club.
That could see him move to RB Leipzig, according to the report, as they have been long-term admirers of his talent.
Leipzig are owned by the same company as Salzburg and have seen players move between the two teams in the past, like Sadio Mane and Naby Keita.
