Tottenham could have an alternative to Mauricio Pochettino available to them in the shape of Max Allegri.
The Sun reports that if Spurs consider sacking Pochettino sometime this season, the former Juventus and AC Milan boss is ready to take over.
Allegri left Juventus in the summer and is taking a year off from the sport.
But he would be willing to come back to management for a job like Spurs.
The Italian has been learning English and is reportedly eager to work in the Premier League.
While Tottenham hope that Pochettino can turn things around, there is a feeling around the club that it may be time for a change at the end of the season.
Allegri would bring pedigree and a trophy winning past to a club that is desperate to make the step up to the elite in the English game.
