Rafa Benitez is swapping Tyneside for China!
The former Newcastle, Liverpool and Real Madrid manager is heading to Dalian Yifang, per Sky Sports News.
Benitez quit Newcastle after he was unable to agree on terms for a new contract with owner Mike Ashley.
Instead of opting to wait for an option in Europe, Sky reports that Benitez has taken the eye watering salary on offer in China.
The report indicates that he will earn more than double the 6 million annual pay he was getting at Newcastle.
Newcastle are likely turning to Patrick Vieria or Porto boss Sergio Conceicao as their next manager.
