Aston Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton says they must learn from defeat at Tottenham.
Heaton is one of 12 summer signings and reckons the new-look team have the "hunger" to stay up, but he says they must learn to take control of games after an opening 3-1 loss at Tottenham.
He said, We are going back home. That is where we really want to stamp our authority on games.
I think we tried on Saturday at times. But that was always going to be a different kind of game.
Hopefully we go and start on the front foot and get going then."
Heaton added, I wouldn't say I came here with trepidation, just a sense of the unknown. Since setting foot in the building, I have loved every minute so far.
There is a real togetherness, even though we have a lot of new players. We are building that togetherness and it is a good place to be."
