Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe believes that Steve Cook deserves a chance with England.
The central defender has become one of the key players for the Cherries this season.
The 28-year-old was at his best against Manchester United in a 1-0 win on Saturday.
And Howe believes an England call-up is on the cards if Cook can continue this form for the rest of the season.
He told reporters: "I would never say that's beyond him [England call-up].
"I think there was a spell maybe two years ago where I felt he was playing very well and would be a definite option for England. That never quite happened for him.
"But if he continues to perform like that then I think he will have every chance, I'm sure."
