Sheffield United want to sign former Manchester United youngster Paddy McNair.
The 24-year-old excelled last season after moving to Middlesbrough from Sunderland.
According to The Sun, Blades manager Chris Wilder wants to take McNair into his squad for the club's return to the Premier League.
United academy graduate McNair was sold to the Black Cats by Jose Mourinho in 2017.
He has since gone on to become a full Northern Ireland international.
