Tottenham are offering Christian Eriksen 200,000-a-week to stay.
The Dane is out of contract at the end of the season and could still leave for Spain before their deadline shuts on Monday.
Eriksen, 27, has made it no secret of his desire to play for Real Madrid but it hasn't prevented Spurs launching one final last-ditch attempt to keep him for the long-term.
The Daily Mail says that Tottenham have put a 200,000-a-week deal on the table which would make him the second highest paid player at the club behind Harry Kane.
But Eriksen is ready to stand firm and let his contract run down so he can leave on the cheap with Barcelona also a possibility.
