Ben Chilwell concedes Leicester City's players had no expectations going into their thrashing of Southampton.
The fullback scored in the record 9-0 win.
"We obviously went into the match with confidence because we are in such a good period, but no one had expected what happened," said Chilwell.
"As the match progressed, the mentality was that we should stay and not just stop and be satisfied with three or four goals.
"When we got to the break, we just wanted to keep scoring and show that we are a top team."
