Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio admits his knee injury is hard to take.
Asensio is out for nine months after breaking down against Arsenal this week.
"I started this season with the renewed hope, taking care of even the smallest detail of my preparation to make it a great season for all Real Madrid fans and for myself," Asensio wrote on social media.
"When things are going well, life can hit you at any moment and, in an instant, completely change everything.
"These are very hard days in which to process everything, but another personal challenge begins in my life and I am still confident that it will be a great season."
