Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has dropped Sean Longstaff for their clash with Norwich City.

Toon manager Bruce has decided to leave out the 21-year-old following the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, according to The Times.

He will be replaced in the starting XI at Carrow Road by South Korean Ki Sung-yueng, who reportedly voiced his displeasure at being dropped against the Gunners.

Longstaff was arguably the biggest success story of Newcastle's season in the 2018/19 campaign.

His performances caught the eye of Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
