Real Madrid legend Guti is in line for the Almeria job.
Almeria have parted company with head coach Pedro Emanuel after a run of disappointing results.
The Andalusian side are currently second in LaLiga Smartbank but have won just one of their last eight matches.
Guti has been heavily linked with the job following a tweet from Almeria's official Twitter account.
"A certain #14 is flying in," they tweeted with a Batman style video.
