Xavi Simons stands by his decision to leave Barcelona for PSG.
The Dutch midfielder surprisingly quit Barca for PSG on his 16th birthday this season.
"(Lionel) Messi is the best player in the world, of course," Simons told NOS.
"Everyone dreams of playing with him, but sometimes you have to choose a different path.
"I decided to start a new adventure and I think it's good for my development."
