More records fell for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp for victory at Southampton.
The Reds won 2-1 at St Mary's on Saturday.
The Liverpool Echo says the club won their final nine matches of the 2018/19 campaign to end second and have now added two straight wins to the mix this term.
As revealed by Opta Stats post-game, the eleven-game winning run is a Premier League club record for Liverpool.
It is a streak which surpasses the ten straight matches in a row won under Brendan Rodgers during the 2013/2014 season.
The other statistical success for Klopp is even more imperssive.
The German has now amassed 300 league points as a manager with the Reds, in just 146 games.
That is faster to the 300 mark than club legend Kenny Dalglish, who previously held the record.
