Agents for Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld have met with AS Roma directors.
Footmercato says the summit was held on Thursday in Rome, with Giallorossi sports director Gianluca Petrachi heading the meeting.
Alderweireld can leave Tottenham this summer for just under 28m thanks to a clause in his contract.
The Belgian has been playing for Spurs since 2015. In the past season, the 30-year-old played 50 competitive games.
For his part, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be reluctant to lose the defender.
