West Ham signing Sebastien Haller says a return to France was never considered this summer.
Haller left Eintracht Frankfurt for the Hammers last week in a 50m deal.
And speaking with L'Equipe, the centre-forward says Ligue 1 was never an option.
"Possible, yes, conceivable, not at all. I did not want to come back to France as there was nothing for me," he stated.
"What was offered to me was not good for me."
