Andy Carroll will not be returning to Newcastle United this summer, according to reports.
The injury-plagued striker was released by West Ham following the expiration of his contract in June.
A return to boyhood club Newcastle has been touted for Carroll in recent weeks.
But the Mirror says Toon boss Steve Bruce is content with his forward options after signing Joelinton and Allan Saint-Maximin.
Bruce splashed out almost 60m on the pair and has now priorities signing a right-back.
