Newcastle United are closing on a deal for Amiens defender Emil Krafth.
The former Bologna fullback is now on the brink of moving to Newcastle after a fortnight of negotiations.
Courrier-Picard says talks have progressed positively with Newcastle upping their offer to 1.5m.
And all indications now are that Amiens will agree to sell.
For his part, Sweden international Krafth, 25, is eager to see the move happen.
