Chelsea youngster Mason Mount has admitted he is a little surprised at the start the Blues have made in the Premier League.
When their first game ended in a 4-0 loss to Manchester United, many worried for the Blues and boss Frank Lampard.
But they have bounced back and are firmly in contention for a top four a lot.
Their away form is especially impressive, as evidenced by a 4-1 win at Southampton this weekend.
"It's been going good away from home," Mount told BBC Sport.
"There are little things we can work on, obviously conceding, and we had a tough period but away from home we've been very good.
"You've always got to have that confidence in yourself. To be fair, I probably didn't think it would go this well at the start. Everyone is working hard, you can see how much it means to us."
