Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk knows how badly the club's fans want to win the Premier League.
Despite the Reds winning the Champions League last season, players and fans know the big prize is their first league title in decades.
The Reds have been sitting on 18 league titles for far too long.
Van Dijk knows they can end that hoodoo this time around, but he wants to caution everyone from proclaiming them champions elect so early in the campaign.
He told reporters: "Of course I can sense how much winning the title is spoken about.
"For our fans, winning the championship has been way too long, so they place the Premier League title now above everything.=
"No competition is more important than this one, but we need to keep the fever outside.
"Klopp tells us every week, 'Focus on the next match'.
"We are doing alright, but it is only November.
"The hardest months of football are still waiting."
