Chelsea manager Frank Lampard says there is no need for him to discuss the comments made by Sean Dyche about Callum Hudson-Odoi.

After the two teams met at the weekend, in a game Chelsea won handily, Dyche accused Hudson-Odoi of diving.

The Clarets boss feared for the future of the game because of the way young players go down too easily, in his view.

But Lampard does not want to discuss those comments.

"I've said nothing. I didn't feel the need to," said Lampard to reporters.

"I asked him (Hudson-Odoi) on the day of the game straight afterwards, after my press conference, about what happened.

"He said he got a touch. Clearly when you see it back from behind he gets a hand on his back.

"I know it is light. I am not saying it is a definite penalty, but it is not a dive. I am not sure if Sean maybe had watched it back on all the angles when he spoke.

"It wasn't a dive as such because if that becomes a dive you'll start analysing every bit of contact.

"How much was it? Was that enough to put Ashley Barnes on the floor or not? Was that enough for Callum to go down or not?

"That is the game. Those are the grey areas. I didn't think the whole 'in five or 10 years this is where the game is going to go' was probably the right nature for what turned out to be nowhere near a clear-cut issue."
