Arsenal have opened new contract talks with Matteo Guendouzi.
Soccerlink reports he is in line for improved terms on his 40,000-a-week Arsenal contract.
The French midfielder, 20, arrived at the Emirates last summer for a mere 7million and has already turned out to be great value for money.
The former Lorient ace has been approached for talks over a better contract after the club managed to shave 475,000-a-week off their wage bill.
Guendouzi played 38 games in all competitions for Arsenal last season and impressed fans with his all-action style and midfield control.
