Real Madrid great Fernando Hierro has paid tribute to former teammate Raul.
October 29, 2019, marks the 25th anniversary of Raul's Real Madrid debut.
"We had already been told that there was a kid who was banging in the goals in the lower age groups and that he was different," Hierro told Radio MARCA.
"He was a boy who had his eyes open, with great enthusiasm and an out-of-the-ordinary ambition.
"We all understand that due to what he represented every day."
Raul is currently coaching Real Madrid Castilla, but Hierro sees the former No.7 going on to emulate Zinedine Zidane by taking charge of the first team.
"Raul has everything to become Real Madrid head coach," he stated.
