Crystal Palace will be without Joel Ward after the right-back suffered a serious knee injury.

Palace are now desperately short in the position, following Aaron Wan-Bissaka's move to Manchester United in the summer.

Central defender Martin Kelly is expected to fill in for Ward.

The news could prompt Palace to revisit signing Kyle Walker-Peters from Spurs in January, according to the Evening Standard.

Spurs could be keen to loan out Walker-Peters given his lack of playing time this season.
