Eden Hazard insists he didn't chase the No7 shirt at Real Madrid.
Hazard arrived in the summer from Chelsea for a fee rising to 150m.
On taking Cristiano Ronaldo's No7 shirt, he insisted: At first Mariano wore it. I didn't want to ask him why it's not my style.
"I knew that 10 was (Luka) Modric and in Chelsea I took 17. I knew that Lucas (Vazquez) had 17.
"But in the last week, the club told Mariano that I had to take his 7."
